I dont think chmod +x configure is required.


Incase they dont do much compileing etc you might also might want to add

I have compiled tintin++ 2.00.5 on both Ubuntu 10.4 and 10.10

Heres how I do it.

This is all done from the command line

mkdir tintin

cd tintin

sudo apt-get build-dep tintin++

wget ht ...
