hrm #con convert on does make it a bit easier to make a clone of the original ansi....

slysven in your suggestion it would also require me to recreate the original ansi yes?

hrm... playing sounds with #sys seems to both lag and also throw a message to the screen. Or am I not doing it right?

PS: I found what the problem is, apparently Compiz is intercepting my terminal ...

Is there any way to make tab complete (on scrollback) ignore punctuation? Whenever a word in my scrollback ends in a comma or period, the punctuation is included in my tabbing.
