Hi,
Idk how easy/possible this would be, but it would be nice if the #chat functionality could support upnp or similar for those behind NAT routers or similar.

I wouldn't even know where to start. Not sure if anyone else has helpful suggestions.

#chat does have some forwarding options, you could ask a friend to use #chat serve to forward public chat messages to you. #chat serve should also make this person forward your public chat messages to everyone else they are connected to.

I'm not super familiar, but it seems that libupnp (as an optional dependancy) should do the trick quite nicely. libupnp.org

Would this have to be part of tt++ for it to work? Or could an external program be used?

I'm hesistant to even add it to my todo list cause I would probably never get around to it.

Hi,
I think upnp has to be done in the program opening a port (though again, I'm not very familiar at all). If it wouldn't be easy to do or you just have too much it's not a big deal, I can always set up a relay on my server or similar.

I've got a pretty long todo list as it is. If there is a command line telnet program utilizing upnp you might be able to run it within tintin with the #run command.
