The output is OK, but, when inputing Chinese characters(Simplified Chinese, in gb2312 coding) both the local display and the command string sent to server are messed. I debugged the program, and finally found the problem.

In file input.c, tintin++ use something like "\033[1@%c" to format the inputed chars. I don't know the exact meaning of the control sequence " \033[1@" in vt100 terminal. If I remove that, everything works.

Any idea?

\033[1@ is used for displaying an insertion, but removing it shouldn't have any impact on the command string send to the mud.

I'll add an if check and only insert when there needs to be an insertion, but I don't think this change would fix the command string issue you mentioned.

It does. Without "\033[1@", both the display and outgoing string are right. Big Smile

Hopefully that'll be fixed for the next release as well.
