I am coding a bit in LPC, it has an executor, which can be used such as:

=y=({"dog","cat"})

This works in telnet, however in tintin the same phrase is
converted to

=y=({dog,cat})

And dog and cat are no longer treated as strings, but now as objects.

How can I prevent this?
I need the quotes. Smile

What theldw said. Preceding the command with a \ instead might work as well.

As a side note, tintin using quotes is an old tintin III to tintin++ conversion bug that only shows up in a few cases.

I'll look into removing that code though it'll likely mess up a couple of scripts.

Cool

=y=({\"dog\",\"cat\"})
result:
({ "dog",
"cat" })

Works.

\=y=({"dog","cat"})

Works too.

I stick to the second version since its only one extra char Smile
