i'm connecting to a server, and tintin is aparently in character-at-a-time mode.

how do i get it out of character at a time mode, so that i can type commands that will trigger aliases? none of my aliases appear to be working.
even something as simple as:
#alias {hi} {#show there}
does nothing.

Help?

One solution is running tintin server side.

Another way to get an alias through is typing: #1 hi since character mode is ignored for everything starting with the command character.

To disable it in the source code edit telopt.c and comment out every line containing: check_character_mode(ses);
