Hi,

I have a simple event that does the following:
Code:

#EVENT {RECEIVED LINE} {
    #VAR currentline %1;
}

This works fine, the line is correctly stored into the variable, but there is one issue with it:
when the mud sends output that doesn't come from something you've sent yourself, it will show the #VAR command being run, like this:
Code:

9344h, 6712m, 38725e, 30850w ex-
#VARIABLE {currentline}={9344h, 6712m, 38725e, 30850w ex-}

Text from the mud.
9344h, 6712m, 38725e, 30850w ex

I've tried to turn #MESSAGE VAR OFF, but that doesn't change anything.

I've found another issue with this: tt++ would send some text to the mud with this event depending on what line you see.

To fix this I changed it to:
Code:

#EVENT {RECEIVED LINE} {
    #VAR currentline {%1};
}

This also fixed my previous issue Smile
