Installed recently WinTin++ 2.00.8.

Previously, on WinTin++ 1.98.5, I had an option in settings (left-clicking on icon in upper-left corner of application window) to log mud sessions (with ability to make separate logs, with file names containing &Y, &M, &D data parameters).

Now, in 2.00.8 mintty settings, such an option is absent. Question: what are capabilities of 2.00.8 for session logging, how to enable their use, and how to use them properly.

You can log internally, for example:

#format filename {%t} {%Y/%m/%d}

#log overwrite $filename

I'm having some trouble getting this to work. My first question is where does the log fille save to? Second, can I have the log file save as a .txt file so I can import it into Excel? Lastly, how to I turn logging on withint a script. This is what my script looks like, but it doesn't seem to produe a log file, or if it does, I have no idea where it is:

Thank you
Code:
#verb {off}
#echo {on}
#showme \e[2J
#event {PROGRAM START} {#ses VFC 10.244.2.15 23}
#action {You last signed on} {PEACH;#cr;^STA;1;2;1;3;1;REVNUE}
#action {This response must be a date.} {2-28}
#alias {REVENUE}
{
   #var logging on
   #log o report
   #format month {%t} {%m};
   #IF {$month == 1} {#SEND 12-1;12-31};
   #ELSEIF {$month == 2} {#SEND 1-1;1-31};
   #ELSEIF {$month == 3} {February};
   #ELSEIF {$month == 4} {#SEND 3-1;3-31};
   #ELSEIF {$month == 5} {#SEND 4-1;4-30};
   #ELSEIF {$month == 6} {#SEND 5-1;5-};
   #ELSEIF {$month == 7} {#SEND 6-1;6-};
   #ELSEIF {$month == 8} {#SEND 7-1;7-};
   #ELSEIF {$month == 9} {#SEND 8-1;8-};

Code:

   #var logging on
   #log o report
   #format month {%t} {%m};

You need to put a ; at the end of the first two lines.

Type: #sys pwd to see what directory tt++ thinks you're in. You can add .txt to the end of the logfile.

You may also benefit from a:
Code:
#CONFIG {LOG} {PLAIN}
which will strip out the ANSI colour codes from the incoming text that the default {RAW} leaves in or you could try {HTML} and save it with an .htm extension to view the log file in a browser...
