Hi there,
I just want to know how to safely uninstall tt++ compiled from source code? I've found in "Makefile" some rule called "distclean" but I don't know is it enought to do? I've also noticed "tt++" file in /usr/share/bin and as new Unix user I'm wondering are there any other files to delete manualy?
By the way, Can I have installed old version of tt++ from repository and new one compiled by myself in same time?
Thanks.

Use 'make' instead of 'make install' to create a local binary. In that case you have to use ./tt++ to launch the program, and be in the right directory.

When I was writing this topic, I thought that is much more complicated. After tones of read manuals and useful advices(like yours Scandum - thanks), I changed my mind. Smile Finally, I installed last beta tt++ and everything is ok, no bugs etc. I'm still thinking about best gcc flags settings but it is not big problem.
