hello , sir.
I have a question about #sub and #action.
when I use #sub to do something, like :
A big bird (bird)

use #sub {big bird} {abc}

then , I will look :
A abc(bird)

next, I use #action {abc} {say hi}

now , in mud , I look this :

A abc(bird)

=> I can't "say hi" ...

I don't know why

who can teach me ?

thank you.

So this is what the MUD returns ? that's strange...

Try to use
Code:
#action {abc} {#send {say hi}}

thank your reply , sir.

in this case:
I look this room have :
A big bird(bird)

I use
Code:
#sub {big bird} {abc}

so , when I look again ,
I look :
A abc(bird)

next, I use
Code:

#action {abc} {say hi}

in old tintin version , like tintin 1.5 version ,

when I look this room :

A abc(bird)

in Mud , I can " say hi " , because I use
Code:
#action {abc} {say hi}.

but in tintin 2.0.1 version ,

when I look this room:

A abc(bird)

in Mud , I can not " say hi " , but , I use #action {abc} {say hi}
it is not do action , I don't know why ...:~

I try to use :
Code:
#action {abc} {#send {say hi}}

It is not to do " #send " ...

thank you sir.

tried a little and seems that #sub is only for aesthetic changes...

#action is not triggered by the substituted strings, but still by the original one

Instead of using #sub + #action, why don't you use just the #action ?
Code:
#action {big bird} {say hi}

if you have many things to make it trigger you can use
Code:
#action {{big bird|small rat|medium dog|etc...}} {say hi}
