Hi!

Using Tintin++ v 2.01.1 from Ubuntu linux.

For some strange reason #path command not working.
I start with
Code:
#path new
and tt++ response is:

Code:
#PATH: YOU ARE NOW MAPPING A PATH.

Then I walk for exame, north, north, north.
And if I do
Code:
#path show
or
Code:
#path end
or antying, tt++ simply does not map any directions. Is seem slike path #new actually starts, but is not mapping anything Sad.

Any suggestions please what could cause this issue?

Regards,
Calahan

To see what path directions are known by tt++, type:
Code:

#pathdir

To get help how to set up new path directions, type:
Code:

#help pathdir

So for setting up tt++ that it understands that "north" means "n" and
the reverse direction is "south", type:
Code:

#pathdir {north} {south} {1}

The third argument "1" means that this should be the same to tt++ as the direction "n".
So to set up "south" to mean "s", you would type:
Code:

#pathdir {south} {north} {4}

This is how a compass would look like (if the code tags would be displayed with a monospaced font) with cardinal direction numbers:
Code:

      N

      1
    9 | 3
     \|/
W 8---+---2 E
     /|\
   12 | 6
      4

      S

Exactly, by default it recognize only "single-char" directions (n,s,w,e,etc...)

Don't forget the Z-axis (for up and down; 'u' & 'd' aren't they?) Don't recall the numeric codes... Embarassed
