Hi, from quite some time i bother with create kinda universal setup. I have plenty of scripts that works well. But i have not idea how to put them all together in proper way.

questions is:

how to set up tmux panes in proper way? that they fit any size and resolution? do i should predeclare them on start up or let user to do that,

where to create panes? and there to start tt? in bash script? or start spliting panes under tintin scripts?

how it should looks like? just conceptional question?

I use tmux, but not for mudding purposes, anyway I can tell that you must start tmux before tt (it must run inside the tmux session).

You can choose if to create a tmux config to start it with all the splits you want and what to run in each of them (tt++, tail somefile.file, etc...), but I can't help here because I never did this.

Or you can just manage tmux from tt directly, either by hand using tmux hotkeys, or you can also create some tt automations/aliases that uses #system to pass instructions to the tmux session (for dynamic splittings and all). (still you'll need to have a look at the tmux documentation)

Tmux automatically uses the maximum size it can get, and if you resize the terminal window it will reduce all the splits maintaining proportions, so the only thing you shoud work on is tt++ scripts, because it doesn't adapt automatically everything on resize.
