I have been connected to a few different muds and have seen some strange issues. It appears that when you get a big block of text sometimes pieces of that text is missing and aligned incorrectly.
You can fix it by using the scroll up feature and scrolling back down through the buffer so the history is fine and it re-writes it. I have tried several different terminal emulators and even screen. I am running xubuntu.

Probably caused by packet fragmentation, try setting:

#config {packet patch} {0.5}

That works, but is that a sufficient work around if this is common? I had to come here to ask to be able to find out how to do it. It looks like you also gave someone else the same advice recently.

I also seem to be having an issue with trying to run #log in the #event {SESSION CONNECTED}
it doesn't appear to start logging.

It's mentioned in the FAQ: http://tintin.sourceforge.net/faq.php

I'd rather not automatically enable it because some people find a 0.5 to 1 second pause annoying, and it can cause problems for people who use #split but not #prompt.

Some MUDs support EOR which gets rid of the pause. Even then I'd rather not enable it automatically.

I have the same issue with text displaying.

And I also set #config {packet patch} {0.5}.

Sometimes, it always lost some words randomly.
