Hello,

I would like to perform a cross-compiling of tintin sources for another procesor than i386. I got the gcc for than procesor but I don't know exactly how should I do to compile tintin that gcc. Please guide me to compile tintin using another gcc.

Thanks a lot,
Radu

It's not that simple ...

export PATH=$PATH:/home/toolschains/4.1.0-uclibc-0.9.28/bin
CFLAGS="-Os -W -Wall -pipe -march=4kc -Wa,--trap" \
CPPFLAGS="-I/home/toolschains/4.1.0-uclibc-0.9.28/usr/include" \
LDFLAGS="-L/home/toolschains/4.1.0-uclibc-0.9.28/usr/lib" \

./configure \
--target=mipsel-linux \
--host=mipsel-linux \
--build=i386-pc-linux-gnu \
--program-prefix="" \
--program-suffix="" \
--prefix=/usr \
--exec-prefix=/usr \
--bindir=/usr/bin \
--datadir=/usr/share \
--includedir=/usr/include \
--infodir=/usr/share/info \
--libdir=/usr/lib \
--libexecdir=/usr/lib \
--localstatedir=/var \
--mandir=/usr/share/man \
--sbindir=/usr/sbin \
--sysconfdir=/etc \
--disable-largefile \
--disable-nls \
--enable-shared \
--enable-static

configure works ok

but

make command throws out can't find a register in class 'COP3_REGS' while reloading 'asm' (function 'bait' from rl.c) ...

Could you post the spam generated by ./configure while it runs?
