I have an alias "gospell", that calls on some other aliases to move around a set of rooms and cast a spell set to a variable on the npcs there. For some reason, after entering the text 'gospell', tintin activates #split. I have no idea why this should happen, and I have to #unsplit every single time.

you should try to remove lines from your code until you find out where exactly the #split happens
