Are you on OS X 10.2 ?

Regardless, you will have to open terminal, next use the cd command to go to the directory you unzipped the tt++ binary to. After that you can type ./tt++ to start the program.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, you're not the only one left confused.

Tintin needs the program named 'terminal' to run. The following instructions might work however: Unzip the tt++ file to your desktop, open terminal, type: cd Desktop, next type: ./tt++

If that doesn't work there's little I can do since I know close to nothing about Macs.

Make sure you got the right file, the link to the os x binary is here:

It is already installed on your Mac. Check your program list.

You should have a software restore disk I think. Unless you deleted the Disk Utility program as well.

If you're still having issues, click the Apple menu, click About This Mac, and clicking on the version once will switch to showing the build.

Let me know the build/version number and which programs you deleted and I'll pass it on to some knowledgeable person for a solution.
