I've been working for a while on a MUD mapper, and I'm finally at the point where I'm willing to allow an initial release and see what happens.
http://www.lauzet.com/argon
There you'll discover a MUD mapper meant for rapid map making (maps are created from your keyboard, much like while you're in game N,E,S,W, etc). It has plenty of features worth looking at (there's a manual at that URL).
In the spirit of keeping this post Tintin related (I apologize for otherwise shameless self promotion), there is currently limited support for tintin++. Actually, it's kind of an easter egg. If you hit the 5 key, it will format the map as a valid tintin map and put the output in the "room info" window - this text, when saved to a text file, will load as a tintin map. |

Wow, very good work. Would rock to link it somehow with tintin++.
I just had a quick look at your project but looks very nice. I'll check it some later. |

Pleased to see interest in argon - if you have any ideas of how it should link to tintin++, let me know. It will generate a tintin map file if you hit the 5 key (but you'll have to copy the text output and save it in a file). |
